Our vein and vascular treatment using the Cutera Xeo Nd:YAG laser effectively addresses visible veins and vascular issues, providing a non-invasive solution ideal for individuals seeking to reduce the appearance of spider veins, broken capillaries and other vascular concerns anywhere on the body or face with minimal downtime.

The laser targets the haemoglobin within the blood vessels, causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body, resulting in clearer, more even-toned skin. This advanced technology allows for precise and safe treatments, ensuring optimal results with minimal discomfort.

Whether you’re dealing with facial veins, leg veins, or other vascular lesions, our laser treatment offers an effective and efficient option to restore your skin’s natural beauty and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Cutera Xeo Nd:YAG laser targets and heats the blood vessels causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body, reducing or eliminating the appearance of veins and vascular lesions. Blood flow will be redirected to healthy veins deeper below the skin’s surface, where it should be.

You may see an immediate improvement in the appearance of more superficial veins or vascular lesions, but most see an improvement within 2-6 weeks as the treated veins fade and the skin appearance improves. Larger reticular veins may take longer to resolve and may need multiple treatments.

The number of treatments varies depending on the severity and extend of the vascular issues. Typically, 1-3 sessions 6 weeks apart are recommended for a 70% improvement in visible veins and vascular issues.

Results can last for several months to years. Maintenance sessions may be needed depending on individual factors, such as lifestyle and extent of the initial condition.

While most individuals with visible veins or vascular lesions on the face and body are good candidates, a consultation and patch test are necessary to determine if this treatment is appropriate based on your skin type and medical history.

During vein/vascular laser treatments, you may experience a slight pinching or stinging sensation, most clients say it feels like a rubber band snapping under the skin for a second and is tolerable. A cooling gel is applied to the skin before treatment to help soothe the skin during the treatment process. Generally, local anaesthetics or pain medication is not needed.

It is advisable to have the treatment or course of treatments at least 4-6 weeks before a big even to allow sufficient time for the veins to fade and any potential side effects to subside.

There may be some redness or swelling immediately after the treatment, but these effects typically subside within a few days. In some cases, there may be hemosiderin staining, which can appear as reddish or yellowish brown discolouration and is a result of blood vessels breaking down, leaving behind iron deposits in the skin. This typically can take a couple of weeks to a couple of months to resolve, but in rare instances, may be permanent.
