Our clinic is based in Chorlton, South Manchester, with easy access to public transport and parking.

About Helena
Hi, I’m Helena, the proud owner of SkinHD. Let me share a bit about my journey.
After a solid 10 years in the NHS, I gained my Nurse Prescriber qualification in 2012. In 2015, I decided to take the plunge and dive headfirst into my true passion – aesthetics. Before that, I had a stint in the art world – earning a degree in Fine Art. That background taught me a lot about proportion and symmetry, skills that definitely come in handy in aesthetics!
I absolutely love everything about my job. Not only am I able to make my own decisions being a small business owner, I’m an active member of our local community in Chorlton, and I’m lucky to have the absolute best team around me – and no, I’m not biased just because two of them are family!
I love the fast-paced nature of aesthetics, there’s always something new to learn about – treatments, technologies, products, you name it! What really drives me is the chance to make people feel as good as they look. I’m naturally inquisitive, love getting to know people, and thrive on helping them to make informed decisions about their treatment plans. A lot of my clients have been coming to me since I started, so they are more like friends and family than patients! It’s all about giving you the best experience and making sure you feel supported every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Sara!
In 2014 I graduated as a midwife and work at St Mary’s Hospital helping to welcome new lives into the world. I started my aesthetics training in 2016, originally stepping in to give my sister, Helena, some time off when she had her second child. Little did I know I would develop a real passion for the beauty side of things! I’ve continued to don both roles since then; I’m constantly learning about new treatments and trends in the aesthetics field and love helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals.
I’ll always give you really honest advice when you’re coming in for your consultations – I would never suggest any products that you don’t need just for the sake of it!
Profhilo is my personal favourite treatment to have myself, as it gives such a fresh but natural looking result, and my favourite treatment to perform is Botox. I’m also the one that does most of Helena’s treatments!

About Heather
Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m the skin specialist at SkinHD. I started working at SkinHD as a receptionist when we first opened the clinic in 2017. I loved learning about all the different treatment options so much that I decided to pursue my beauty therapist training, and earnt my level 3 qualification in 2020.
As someone who has problematic skin (I suffer with cystic acne and pigmentation), I understand the impact it can have on your confidence. I really enjoy helping people to take back control of their skin, and seeing their progress and confidence increase after treatments and consultations with me genuinely makes me happy!
My specialities are chemical peels, microneedling and skincare. I also maintain our website, booking systems and other general clinic maintenance operations. I am constantly learning about new products and treatments, and always try to pass on my knowledge to our clients about what ingredients are best for their individual skin types and concerns– I’m a big believer in helping my clients understand ‘why’ certain products work, so they are more informed when choosing products that support skin health and enhance the duration of their results from all treatments offered at SkinHD.
I’m really lucky that my boss is not only an amazing friend, she’s also my sister-in-law! It’s so nice to be able to work with family, it’s always a really lovely and supportive working atmosphere, and we all get to see the direct results of all our hard work!

About Yasmin
Hi, I’m Yasmin, the administrator here at SkinHD. I joined the team in October 2019, initially part time, and as things picked up, I’ve happily progressed to a full-time role.
You will have probably spoken to me over the phone or via text/email whilst booking your appointment, and if I’m not here behind the desk when you come in it’s because I’m off on holiday, as I absolutely love travelling and visiting new places!
My job role is very varied, and no two days are the same, which I love, it keeps things interesting! Over the past four years, my role has evolved from being Helena’s PA and lots of odd jobs and handling most enquiries to taking charge of SkinHD’s social media pages, managing bookings and helping out practitioners for our sister company Chorlton Rooms.
My favourite days are most definitely clinic days, I love meeting and chatting to all our lovely clients! Feel free to relax and ask me any questions before your appointment, I’m here to help!
